I recently took part in FitChef’s 21 day challenge. I was really pleased with the results and loved the challenge.
FitChef offer pre-made meals which are free from additives, preservatives and added or artificial sugars. Their products are whole-food, clean eating alternatives for convenience meals. The 21 day challenge includes everything you need; 3 meals and 2 smoothies per day (although you can select a smoothie-free option) for 6-days a week. You are free to eat anything on Sundays. It makes eating a healthy diet so much easier and ensures you are getting balanced, clean and nutritious food without having to plan or cook yourself.
FitChef deliver to most major cities in South Africa. They also cater for various dietary requirements including vegan and vegetarian diets. You can order your choice of meals simply on their website.
The meals are absolutely delicious. There are also various options so you don’t get bored. The smoothies are filling and tasty and were some of my favourite meals but my daily go-to was the FitChef Swiss muesli.
Here are some of my top tips if you intend to try this challenge: I would definitely suggest cleaning out your freezer first – you will need the space! You also need to be prepared to be a little hungry in between meals at first but don’t worry, you do get used to it and, after all, it is only a 21 day challenge so bite the bullet and you will see results.
By the end of the challenge, I managed to lose 3,5kgs. I really enjoyed the meals and I am very happy with the results.
I hope you all enjoyed reading my article about eating and staying healthy with FitChef.
